About the Institute of Executive Development (IED)

IED's mission is to drive innovation in executive development through strategic consulting. Founded in 2004, IED is a for-profit consultancy that serves executives and those responsible for supporting them including talent management professionals and board members. IED and its ecosystem of Clients, Advisors and Associates share in the belief that executive development, given its highly leveraged role, is one of the most critical business activities for any organization.

IED's unique assets include a global network of top professionals in the industry and a rich knowledge repository based on our proprietary market studies. These elements enable IED to architect compelling executive development strategies and create highly innovative solutions to enable executives to lead their organizations and attain superior business results.

IED Advisory Council

IED's Advisory Council plays a key role in providing marketplace insights and guidance to help steer the strategic direction of IED. The Council consists of business leaders, academics and strategic consultants that bring a rich and varied perspective that helps IED fulfill its mission to drive innovation in executive development.

The non-IED members of the Advisory Council have no formal role in any governance or fiduciary activities for IED. All Advisory Council members serve on a volunteer basis. No compensation, direct or indirect, is provided to Advisory Council members as part of their role.
